What language do they speak?

It refers to everything from education to financial factors such as income and net worth. I’m not kidding when I say Facebook allows marketers to get incredible details with their targeting! It is important to note that if you are too detailed, it will cut your reach, which will adjust when you set up your ads in Ads Manager. So when you adjust your target audience, just make sure to track your estimated daily results. Super-targeted ads are great, but not when your goal is so specific that it only includes a few potential viewers.
What are they interested in?
You will also find “Interests” under “Detailed Targeting”. This is where you can specify the audience for your brand or product. Looking for targets for gamers? Fashionista? Technicians? Sportsman? Facebook makes it easy to narrow down by all kinds of benefits. You can also target your audience according to “Behaviors”, including purchase behavior and purchase intentions. Where are they hanging out online?
Did you know that you can target ads by device type and platform? In Ads Manager on Facebook under reserved locations, you can choose where your ads will show. Is your potential customer likely to be on Facebook? Instagram? Do you think they are browsing on a mobile device or on their computer? If you’re targeting people on mobile devices, it’s important to think about how to structure your ads.
